- DAYBAT
- By Joseph Sheppard
-
- What is it?
- ───────────
-
- Daybat is a utility that will allow you to run a different batch file
- every day of the week.
-
- The ideal way to use DAYBAT is by making it a part of your AUTOEXEC.BAT
- file. Then, each time your computer is turned on, DAYBAT will run the
- batch file for whatever day of the week it happens to be.
-
-
- What do I have to do?
- ─────────────────────
-
- Create upto seven batch files. Name them with the first three letters
- of the days of the week:
-
- SUN.BAT
- MON.BAT
- TUE.BAT
- WED.BAT
- THU.BAT
- FRI.BAT
- SAT.BAT
-
- In these batch files, you place the commands you want executed on each
- day. If you don't want a batch file to run on a particular day, then
- don't create a file for that day. DAYBAT will run and DOS will return a
- "Bad Command or Filename" message. Then DAYBAT will abort.
-
- Each of the batch files must be located in either the DOS path, or the
- same directory as DAYBAT.EXE.
-
- REGISTRATION?
- ─────────────
-
- If you find that DAYBAT meets your needs, then please send a Shareware
- contribution to the author. You may send whatever you feel the software
- is worth. I would suggest $5.00. I do not expect you to send a
- contribution if this software dosen't meet your needs.
-
- Please send your voluntary contributions (payable to JOSEPH SHEPPARD) to:
